Echoes of Bangladesh: Is Bengal the Next Hindu Graveyard?

West Bengal, a land where once Swami Vivekananda roared the message of Sanatan Dharma, is today echoing with screams of helpless Hindu families fleeing their homes, burnt and broken. What was once a bastion of spiritual glory is now on the brink of becoming a Hindu graveyard. The situation today is disturbingly similar to 1990 Kashmir, where Hindus were hunted, driven out, and reduced to refugees in their own motherland. Now, Bengal seems to be treading the same cursed path, this time under the rule of Mamata Banerjee and the calculated silence of the so-called Hindu protector, the BJP.

Hindus: Refugees in Their Homeland, Again

In the name of secularism, a systematic campaign of fear and terror is underway. Hindus in districts like Murshidabad, Malda, Cooch Behar, Basirhat, and even Kolkata’s fringes are being threatened, attacked, and forced to flee. Countless homes have been set ablaze. Shops looted. Women harassed. Temples desecrated. And yet, the political establishment remains deafeningly silent.

In the aftermath of the protests against the Waqf Act reforms, radical Muslim mobs unleashed violence with chilling precision. Hindu shops were burnt, homes were reduced to ashes, and temples were brazenly vandalized. Hindus were not just attacked, they were hunted, because their mere existence challenged the narrative of the appeasement state.

Mamata Banerjee: A Chief Minister for the Radicals, Not for the People

Mamata Banerjee has crossed every limit of political appeasement. Her silence in the face of Hindu bloodshed is not neutrality, it is an endorsement. She has consistently failed to utter a single word of condemnation when Hindu lives are lost, temples are defiled, and families are torn apart.

Instead of upholding justice, she weaponizes law enforcement against Hindu activists and shuts down voices exposing radicalism. She bends over backwards to placate extremist clerics and their vote banks while abandoning the very civilization that made Bengal what it is. Under her rule, Islamist mobs act with impunity, knowing the state is on their side.

And What of BJP? The Self-Proclaimed Defenders of Dharma?

Where is the BJP now, the party that roars in rallies about Hindutva and dharma raksha? When Hindus bleed in Bengal, their leaders offer token condemnations and then hide behind the excuse of “state rights.” This is not helplessness. It is calculated negligence. They want your votes, your devotion, your trust, but they will not lift a finger when your homes burn and your temples fall.

The truth is bitter. BJP uses Hindu identity as a poll gimmick. If they were serious about Hindu protection, they would’ve taken decisive constitutional or administrative action long ago. But instead, they offer tweets, empty statements, and PR drama while Hindus are pushed out of their ancestral lands.

Is the Central Government Afraid or Complicit?

Why is the Centre not invoking Article 355 or 356 when the law and order situation clearly fails in Bengal? Why are Hindu refugees being ignored while illegal Bangladeshi migrants and Rohingyas are settled with full state backing? This inaction is not weakness. It is deliberate political cowardice. They are more interested in electoral calculations than civilizational preservation.

Hindus, once again, are left to fend for themselves. Just like in Kashmir. Just like during Partition. Just like in Bangladesh.

The Intellectual Cowards and Media Hypocrites

Those who shout about ‘democracy in danger’ when a stone-pelter is arrested fall silent when Hindu women are raped or temples destroyed. The media has turned into a propaganda tool that either hides the truth or flips the narrative, portraying Hindu victims as aggressors. The so-called secular intellectuals — authors, journalists, activists — are spineless opportunists who refuse to call out Islamist terror but will eagerly blame Hindu festivals for “communal tension.”

The Warning Bells Are Ringing

What’s happening in Bengal is not an isolated communal skirmish. It is civilizational decay. Hindus are not asking for privilege; they are begging for survival. And even that is too much for the current political class, both regional and central, to deliver.

Mamata Banerjee must be held accountable for every home that burned, every shop that was looted, and every Hindu that was murdered on her watch. But equally, Narendra Modi and his BJP must be questioned. What good is your 56-inch chest if it cannot shield the people you claim to protect? Stop selling dharma for votes. Act, or admit that you’re just another face of the same decaying political machinery.

If Bengal falls, Bharat will bleed again. And this time, history will not forgive those who stayed silent.
